Blue Ridge Racing,

This was part of an organised ride in North Queensland, Australia for the local arm of the DSMRA (Dual Sport Motorcycle Riders Association) http://www.dsmra.asn.au/, there where about 20 of us, riding through country that was normally quite dry, the week before the entire area had been flooded, we went on the ride regardless, we is experts ! <grin>

Anyway, when getting to this normally dry creek, we all bunched up, sensing a phot op, I rode across first with the video camera and captured some of the carnage, these pics are captured as still from that video (that's why the quality is not that good). Andrew (the guy in the pic underwater) got sick of waiting, so he went around the outside of everyone, this is what happens when you try to blaze your own trail through a flooded creek ! I have attached another pic of the same ride at the same creek, this one is Mr Roost ! Next pic is is of another mates DRZ 250, bent the gear selector shaft on an anthill, stuck in 2nd gear ! Ripped the bike apart that night at camp, straightened the shaft with a hammer and rode the next two days with it.
