Hybrid Inflator

Initially, we only offered the Co2 inflator with our tool kits, but many customers requested a hand pump option. We then added a hand pump option, but most customers, us included, prefer to carry both a hand pump and Co2 inflator. Well, we recently came across a hybrid pump design that combines both a Co2 inflator and hand pump in one lightweight unit!

The Second Wind MTB from Genuine Innovations is their latest hybrid inflator pump and incorporates several unique design features:

• Uses Co2 cartridges for speed and a hand pump as backup
• Aluminum bodied design is small, lightweight & well made
• Pump inflates efficiently for a small pump
• Works with both threaded and non-threaded Co2 cartridges
• Co2 cartridge can be stored in the barrel of the pump and hand pump can be used without removing the cartridge
• Automatically adapts to both presta and schrader valves so there's no changing of the internals to convert from one fitting to the other

If you select this option with our Stage III Kits, we include a standard tube patch kit similar to what comes with the Co2 inflator. We also offer a tire plug kit for tubeless tires found on many of the new Adventure bikes and ATV's.
