MSR Fuel Mixture Screw

$21.95

At small throttle openings, good 4-Stroke response depends partly on having the right pilot jet installed. But air conditions like temperature, humidity and altitude constantly change meaning jetting requirements can also change, even during a ride.

When low-end throttle response is a problem, one of the simplest things you can do is adjust the fuel mixture screw which richens and leans the pilot circuit.  Problem is, the little adjustment screw on Keihin carbs is a pain to access usually requiring a special tool.

Knowing this, the first thing we do to a new 4-stroke is install a fuel mixture screw we can easily adjust. The MSR design replaces the stock fuel screw and works with all Keihin carbs.  Made from anodized aluminum the adjustment knob has marks for reference. It's also knurled to easily grip with your fingers making adjustments a snap.  If you're riding a 4-stroke, we recommend you don't leave home without one!
