| There's
no denying the new 4-strokes provide great power delivery, but most
folks will agree that, for off-road riding, low RPM response can
be a problem. We've all been in situations where you need to lift
the front end quickly to clear that nasty log or rock, but when
you crack open the throttle, the bike either hesitates, bogs or
stalls. And it always seems to happen at the worst possible time
or place! Well after a number of years of trying everything from
jetting kits to race fuel, we've learned the problem lies in a combination
of restrictive intake and exhaust flow and a lean condition caused
by the accelerator pump on FCR carbs.
The
products listed here all address the off-idle bog seen with most
new 4-strokes, but they also have the added benefit of increasing
performance and throttle response everywhere. In addition to
aftermarket exhausts, we're
running everything listed here on our KTM's, Honda's, Suzuki's and
Yamaha's with amazing results!
