FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

(Q) What Internet browsers can use this site?

(A)  In order to purchase items from this site, you must have JavaScript enabled on your browser. For optimal functionality, we recommend using one of the following browsers:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer - V5.0 or higher
  • Netscape - V4.7 or higher

(Q)  I can't add items to my shopping cart?

(A)  In order to access certain parts of our web site such as the shopping cart pages, our system requires your internet browser to accept cookies. You must enable Cookies on your browser in order to use our shopping cart system. In addition, you may need to enable ActiveX controls in order to purchase our products. Refer to your browser's help facility for further information on these and other topics.

(Q)  Do you accept international credit cards issued outside of the US or Canada?

(A)  The Blue Ridge Racing's shopping cart system is not capable of processing credit cards not issued in the United States or Canada. We are currently working on an agreement with a facilitator to enable online processing of International orders. Until then, if you would like to place an order from a location outside of the United States or Canada, please contact us directly for pricing and availability options.

(Q)  Can I order without using a credit card?

(A)  You may place an order by mail and pay by personal check, certified check or money order. You will need to provide your full address, daytime phone number and the items you are ordering. There will be a delay in processing orders paid by personal check as we will need to wait until the check clears your bank. Address information is available on our contact us page.

(Q)  Do you offer special prices for dealers or wholesalers?

(A)  Blue Ridge Racing Products are offered via our online retailer and through select dealers in the U.S., Canada and some locations internationally. Dealers or distributors who are interested in our products should contact us
directly.

(Q)  Do you sell or distribute any of my information; email, phone number, etc?

(A)
 Absolutely not. We do not distribute any information provided by our customers.

(Q) Why do you ship the outdoor lighters without butane to international destinations?

(A) Certain items we include in our kit such as our butane lighter and Co2 cartridges are considered hazardous material and subject to certain shipping restrictions. In the case of our lighters, we are prohibited from shipping to international destinations any items that contain flammable material. Refer to Shipping Policies for more information on shipping hazardous material.

(Q) Why are shipping charges higher for international destinations?

(A) With respect to international shipping, most countries charge duty and taxes on all shipments passing through customs. In addition, brokerage fees may be charged by the shipper since clearing packages through customs is usually handled by third parties. These fees vary from country to country and change on a regular basis. Unfortunately, it is the responsibility of the customer to pay these fees at time of delivery.
